Among those on board who disembarked at the Cape were Albert Barends Gildenhuisz, Margaretha Hoefnagels, Hendrick Barentsz and Maria Hendricksz Winkelhausen. Albert and Hendrick appear to have been brothers.2,3 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.25 November 1674, the name of Maria was written in the record as Maria Hendricx.4
Between 23 December 1676 and 9 May 2677, the name of Maria was written in the record as Maria Hendricks.5
7 May 1679, the name of Maria was written in the record as Maria Pieters.
19 December 1683, the name of Maria was written in the record as Maria Westhuisen.

Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)In 1674 Maria Jansz Visser appears to be enumerated alone in the monsterrol under the name Schotze Marie - my thanks to Mansell Upham for pointing out that a process of elimination led him to this conclusion. Ockert Corneliszoon Olivier with whom she was engaged in an extra-marital relationship was enumerated separately and also alone. Her children Aeltje Wilhelmse and Cornelis Ockers appear to be enumerated among three unnamed children in the guardianship of Maria Hendricksz Winkelhausen and Pieter Janssen van Westhuisen under the entry 'd' Lieren [sic] 3 k[inders]. I am not sure who the third child was.18
In 1675 Maria Jansz Visser appears to be enumerated alone in the monsterrol Cape district under the name Schotze Marie - my thanks to Mansell Upham for pointing out that a process of elimination led him to this conclusion. Maria Jansz Visser appears to be enumerated alone in the monsterrol of 1677 under the name Schotze Marij - my thanks to Mansell Upham for pointing out that a process of elimination led him to this conclusion. Ockert Corneliszoon Olivier with whom she was engaged in an extra-marital relationship was enumerated with his brother Hendrick Cornelisz Olivier and his two unnamed children, presumably Cornelis Ockers and Dina Olivier. Her oldest daughter Aeltje Wilhelmse may still have been in the care of Maria Hendricksz Winkelhausen and Pieter Jansz van der Westhuijsen.20
