1714 LodgeCensus*31 August 1714, Maria van Diana van de Caep was enumerated as a Company-owned slave in the census of the Slave Lodge de Caep de Goede Hoop. She was just 6 years old, and her mother Diana was not ennumerated in this census.3 
1727 LodgeCensus*28 February 1727, Maria van Diana van de Caep was enumerated as a Company-owned slave in the census of the Slave Lodge. Her daughters Diana van Maria van Diana van de Caep and Christina van Maria van Diana van de Caep were enumerated in the same census, with Diana being described as halfwassen meijden, an adolescent girl and Christijn as suijgelen meisje, a nursing girl. Christijn was said to be one year, three months old.4
