On this occasion the infant appears as Anna Maria.14 On 17 March 1694 Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen bought a slave, Coridon van der Kust Coromandel, from Marten Schouten, for Rds. 80.15 On 9 April 1694 Francis van Cochin was sold by Jacobus de Vos to Meindert Kruijwagen, for Rds. 80.16 On 25 July 1698 Decker van Malabar was sold by Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen to Aaltje Claasz, for Rds. 80.17 On 24 June 1701 Diana van Timor was sold by Gerrit Basson to Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen.18 On 6 February 1702 Aaron van Macassar was sold by Jan Bout to Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.19 Between 6 February 1702 and 4 November 1707 Aaron van Macassar was sold by Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen to Gabriel Doman (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop, this transaction is assumed based on an examination of all the known transactions of slaves named Aaron (variants) van Macassar. |
