Coridon was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there in 1675/76. He was said to be 18 or 19 years old in 1694.¹

On 17 March 1694 Coridon van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Marten Schouten to Johan Mijndertze Kruijwagen, for Rds. 80.²
