Slave TransactionsOn 13 April 1690 Helena van Macassar and Arendt van Mallebaer and Infant van Helena van Macassar were sold by Admiral Joan Parvé to Simon van der Stel, for Rds. 140, Hattingh [Foute …] notes there were conditions attached to this transaction, but does not say what they were.4,5
On 13 April 1690 Jacob van Macassar and Alij van Bouton were sold by Admiral Joan Parvé to Jacob Matsen Rootsteen, for Rds. 70 each.6,7
