Slave Transactions | On 17 January 1696 Titus van Tranquebaer was sold by Dirck Roeloff to Jacob Crebs, for Rds. 95.6 On 5 January 1697 Anthonij van Trancquebare was sold by Jan Pietersz: van Vleugel to Jacob Krebs, for Rds. 91. Böeseken records the surname of the purchaser as Calis, Shell as Krilis and I have assumed him to be Jacob Krebs.
