BirthOrigin*Anthonij was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1679. He was said to be 18 years old in 1697.1
Slave TransactionsOn 5 January 1697 Anthonij van Trancquebare was sold by Jan Pietersz: van Vleugel to Jacob Krebs, for Rds. 91. Böeseken records the surname of the purchaser as Calis, Shell as Krilis and I have assumed him to be Jacob Krebs. Corrections welcome.2,3
