On 12 April 1689 Rebecca van Masulipatnam and Aran van Banda were sold by Michiel Sergeant to Johannes van Engelen, for Rds. 50 and Rds. 46 respectively.10
On 18 April 1690 Johannes van Engelen bought a slave, Cicilia van Timor, from Cornelis de Leeuw, for Rds. 48.11
On 13 November 1690 Flora van der Kust Coromandel was sold by Johannes van Engelen to Pierre Simond, for Rds. 100.12
