BirthOrigin*Libregt was from Bergen and was perhaps born there circa 1700. The date is estimated.2 
Marriage*He married Elizabeth van der Berg, daughter of Jacobùs van den Berge and Jacomina Carteniers, on 29 January 1736 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town). The groom had fathered an out-of-wedlock child with the brides sister in 1732.3
