Susanna was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1680. She was said to be 18 years old in 1698.¹

Slave Emancipations

On 10 March 1698 Susanna van de Kust Coromandel was emancipated by Jasper de Leeuw, effective three years later, but until then to slave for Theunis Dircksen Schalckwyck.¹
