Christiaen was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1680. He was said to be 18 years old in 1698.¹

On 10 January 1698 Christiaen van Trancquebar was sold by Cornelis Krijnsz Rood to Berndt Burcherdt, for Rds. 70.²
