Thannij was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1680. He was said to be 18 years old in 1698.¹

Slave Transactions

On 10 January 1698 Thannij van Trancquebar was sold by Cornelis Krijnsz Rood to Claes Hendriks Diepenhout, for Rds. 50.²
