Slave Transactions | On 10 June 1676 Steven van Malabar was sold by Joan Bax van Herentals to Do. Petrus Hulsenaer, for Rds. 95.2,3 On 26 January 1679 Steven van Malabar was sold by Rebecca van Baelbergen to Johannis Overnij, for Rds. 80. I have assumed this to be the slave purchased by Do. Hulsenaer from Joan Bax, the then governor, in 1676.4,5 |
