Slave TransactionsOn 26 January 1679 Steven van Malabar was sold by Rebecca van Baelbergen to Johannis Overnij, for Rds. 80. I have assumed this to be the slave purchased by Do. Hulsenaer from Joan Bax, the then governor, in 1676.7,8
On 10 May 1679 Jobique van Malabar was sold by Johannis Overnij to Diderick Blom, for Rds. 40.9
