Aron was from Coromandel Coast and may have been born there circa 1658.¹

Slave Transactions

On 3 February 1688 Aron van der Kust Coromandel, Bastiaan van der Kust Coromandel and Titus van der Kust Coromandel and Maria van der Kust Coromandel were sold by Christiaan Jörg to Cornelis Linnes, for Rds. 40, Rds. 40, Rds. 40 and Rds. 46 respectively.²

I have been unable to identify the Cornelis Theunis referred to by Anna Böeseken, and until evidence to contrary surfaces, have assumed Shell to be correct.]
