Occupation* On 24 May 1691 Hermanus Specht was was described as Rev[erend] - a minister of religion apparently en passant at the Cape having arrived from the east on board the Bantham.3 
Slave TransactionsOn 24 May 1691 Titus van Malabar was sold on behalf of Wilhelmina de With by Hermanus Specht to Simon van der Stel for Rds. 60.3
Slave EmancipationsOn 24 May 1691 Scipio van Colombo was emancipated by Hermanus Specht, on condition that if Specht or his wife returned to the east, Scipio would accompany them.4
