Christina van de Caep
F, #9921, b. before 20 April 1692
Baptisms - Witness | Christina van de Caep potentially witnessed the baptism of Anna Lucretia van de Caep on 8 March 1705 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), this witness has not been positively identified. Christina was baptised as a child of unknown age in 1692, and is thus far the only person I have identified who fits the profile to be this witness, i.e. a baptised slave named Christina, owned by Simon van der Stel and who evidently associated with the Macassarese slaves he owned.2 |
