Sara van de Caep van Eva van de Caep b. b 15 Apr 1696; I have assumed the mother is the same woman who gave birth to twins in 1689 based on the fact that in 1693 there were two adult company slave women named Eva, and one had been placed in the service of an official - the other was a laborer. Both were heelslag. Corrections gratefully received.⁵

Slaves Owned by the Company

On 16 January 1689 Eva van de Caep and her daughters Catarina van de Caep van Eva and Anna van de Caep van Eva were enslaved and owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) at the Cape.⁴
On 15 April 1696 Eva van de Caep and Sara van de Caep van Eva van de Caep were enslaved and owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) at the Cape.¹
On 4 January 1699 Eva van de Caep and Andries van de Caep van Eva were enslaved and owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) at the Cape.¹
On 2 May 1700 Eva van de Caep and Juliana van de Caep van Eva were enslaved and owned by the VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) at the Cape.¹
