BaptismTabitha NN was baptized on 30 June 1686 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.1 
Slave BirthsCirca February 1686, Tabitha NN was born in bondage and was owned by Simon van der Stel de Caep de Goede Hoop.2

    (apparently no date) Tabitha, een slavinne kint van de Sr Heer Commandeur.
    There was subsequently a second baptism for a child Tabitha owned by van der Stel; I think it is probably the same individual, viz:
