Maria van de Caep was baptized on 8 January 1690 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Stellenbosch, de Caep de Goede Hoop. The baptism was witnessed by Sibrandus Mancadan and Maria Catarina van Swaenswijk.^2,3
