(Child) Arrival In 1688, Jeanne Néel arrived at the Cape from Amsterdam on board the Schelde (this vessel is speculation on the part of Pieter Coertzen) with Guillaume Néel and Jeanne de la Batte.5 
Names in the record, in publications, etc.Between 13 October 1715 and 28 November 1728, the name of Jeanne was written in the record as Johanna Nel.6
19 September 1717, the name of Jeanne was written in the record as Jannetie Nel.7
Baptisms - WitnessJeanne Néel and Esaias Néel witnessed the baptism of Joannis Odendaal on 14 April 1720 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Stellenbosch, de Caep de Goede Hoop.8
