Occupation*Adriaan Bastiaensz Schepers was skipper of the Beemster on 28 October 1671 when it arrived at de Caep de Goede Hoop.1 
(Abductor) Abduction On 12 November 1671 Anthoni NN was abducted from de Caep de Goede Hoop by Adriaan Bastiaensz Schepers and taken to Batavia on board the Beemster. He was a slave owned by Wouter Mostert.1 
(Witness3) Misc On 8 January 1672 Wouter Mostert commissioned Joannes Leuwensen , book-keeper of the Uijtdam, when reaching Batavia, to use his influence to compel Adriaan Bastiaensz Schepers to return Anthoni NN to him.3,4

He was now in Batavia, but Mostaert commissioned Monst. Joannes Leuwenswon, book-keeper of the Uijtdam, to force Schepers to return [Anthoni] to him.. Joannes Leuwensoon, assistent en as boekhouer op die fluitskip Uijtdam wal tans op vertrek lê na Batavia op om namens hom by sy aankoms te Batavia van Adriaen Bastiaensz Schepers, skipper van die onlangs van hier vertrekte fluit d’Beemster in te vorder en te verhaal die lyfeie Anthoni, ongeveer 20 jaar oud, wat Schepers met sy vertrek van hier van hom as die wettige eienaar ‘violentelijk tegens de wille en weten’ meegeneem en aanboord gebring het; asook vergoeding vir die skade, ontbering en ongerief hom aangedoen.
