Suzanne Janse van Vuuren was also known as Sùsanna van Vùer.6

Baptisms - WitnessSuzanne Janse van Vuuren and Ignace Maré witnessed the baptism of Gerrit Janse van Vuuren on 9 February 1716 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop.8
She and Jacques Delporte and Jacobus Delporte witnessed the baptism of Sara Del Porte on 9 January 1729 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop.9
She potentially witnessed the baptism of Sara Maré on 7 September 1732 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, Drakenstein, de Caep de Goede Hoop, this witness has not been positively identified.10
Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)1709 Ignace Maré was enumerated on the opgaafrol (census/tax roll) in Drakenstein, along with his wife Suzanne Janse van Vuuren. Also included were two sons and one daughter, these would have been Ignatius Maré and Johannes Maré, Catherine Maré.11

In 1712 Suzanne Janse van Vuuren and Ignace Maré were enumerated in the muster roll (Cape Town).13
April 1720 Ignace Maré was enumerated on the opgaafrol (census/tax roll) in Drakenstein, along with his wife Suzanne Janse van Vuuren. Also included were three sons and three daughters, these would have been Ignatius Maré, Johannes Maré and Lùcas Martinùs Maré, Anna Elisabeth Maré and Susanna Maré. It is clear that by this time his oldest daughter Catharina had left the family home - she was enumerated with her husband immediately following her father and his family.14
