On 2 December 1697 Mary van Madagascar was sold by Catrina Backers to Dirk van Coningshoven, for Rds. 100.14
Before 23 May 1713 Mary van Madagascar most likely came into the possesion of Jannetje Bort van de Caep at the death of her husband, Dirk van Coningshoven, sometime prior to this. She is recorded as 1 slavin genaemt Marij in the first inventory of Jannetje Bort’s estate.15
