Birth*Goukou of the Khoe was born circa 1640 in de Caep de Goede Hoop, in 1697 he was described as ouden. I am not aware of any studies on the longevity of the Khoe and San in this period, but I suspect 60 years may have been quite old. Please help if you are able to correct me on this.1
