Birth* | Sara Torin was born circa 1670, the date is estimated. Nothing more is known about this individual other than that she was on the Brandenburg which sailed for the Cape from Texel on 2 June 1695, during which time she witnessed the baptism of Sara Hendrina Brinck. She she does not again appear in the record at the Cape, and it is assumed that she traveled to the East, also on the Brandenburg, when it sailed for Batavia on 1 July 1696. Additions and corrections are welcome.1 |
Baptisms - Witness | Sara Torin and Pn Hiesenga and Samuel Hatting witnessed the baptism of Sara Hendrina Brinck in October 1695 Brandenburg, VOC vessel of the fleet.2 |
