BirthOrigin*Tietje was from Bil and may have been born there circa 1630. His age is estimated.1 
Death*He died after 20 March 1656, He was recorded among the members of the Amsterdam Chamber who had died in 1656.2
 
(Passenger) ShipVoyage On 10 June 1655 the Amersfoort departed Vlie where it docked on 7 November 1655. Among those on board was Tietje Douwes.3 
Monsterrollen and Opgaafrollen (Muster and tax rolls)On 20 March 1656 Tietje Douwes was enumerated in the muster roll, as a sailor.1
