Titus was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there circa 1686. He was said to be 16 years old in 1700.¹

On 19 January 1700 Titus van Trancquebar was sold by Cornelis Krijnsz Rood to Claes Hendriks Diepenhout, for Rds. 57½.²
