BirthOrigin*Leander was from Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1686. He was said to be 13 years old in 1699.2 
Duplicate?*It is possible that Leander van Malabar and Leander van Malabar are the same individual. 
Slave TransactionsOn 21 May 1699 Leander van Malabar was sold by Cornelis Wyllemse to Pieter Claas, for Rds. 40.3
