BirthOrigin*Anthonij was from Bengal and was perhaps born there circa 1681. He was said to be 18 years old in 1699.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 12 March 1699 Anthonij van Bengale was gifted by Joan van Hoorn, to Johannes van Keulen, on condition that Anthonij was not to be sold and that he be granted his freedom on the death of Van Keulen.2,3
