BirthOrigin*Thomas was from Batavia and was perhaps born there circa 1670. He was said to be 28 years old in 1698.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 21 April 1698 Thomas van Batavia was sold by Henning Hüsing to Johann Lorenz, for Rds. 150, Theunis Dirks van Schalkwijk stood surety.2
