Slave Transactions | On 25 June 1697 February van Bouton was sold by Gerrit Finman to Rugert Mensingh, for Rds. 70.3 On 11 March 1699 Paris van Macassar on behalf of Gerrit van Voorde by Joost Claerbout to Rugert Mensingh, for Rds. 60.2 On 6 January 1700 Titus van Bengale was sold by Rutgert Mensinck to Jan Siek, for Rds. 70. I have assumed the purchaser to be Jan Siek, a potter from Bremen. Corrections welcome.4 On 13 April 1700 Susanna van Macassar was sold by Elbert Franszen to Rutgert Mensinck, for Rds. 62.5 |
