BirthOrigin*Jan was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1673. He was said to be 24 years old in 1697.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 21 June 1697 Douvre van Bengale, October van Bengale, Titus van Bengale and Jan van Malabar were sold by Wilhelm Burchgraaff to Jan Dircks de Beer, respectively for Rds. 60, Rds. 70, Rds. 60 and Rds. 50.2,3
