BirthOrigin*Scipio may have been from the small village of Bibipatnam, Visakhapatnam, Bengal, and was perhaps born there circa 1675. He was said to be 22 years old in 1697.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 11 June 1697 Alexander van Paliacatte, Scipio van Bibelepatnam and Titus van Bengale were sold by Hendrick van Buytenhem to Henningh Hùijsing, the first two were sold for Rds. 61 each, while Titus was sold for Rds. 52.2
