Sara was from Trancquebar and was perhaps born there in 1681/82. She was said to be 15 or 16 years old in 1697.¹

On 22 January 1697 Sara van Trancquebare was sold by Jan Pietersz: van Vleugel to Christophel Haesewinkel, for Rds. 70.²
