BirthOrigin*David was from Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1670. He was said to be 30 years old in 1696.2,3 
Slave TransactionsOn 2 July 1696 David van Malabar was sold by Elsie Suurwaarden to Isaq Schrijver, for Rds. 100. However, in Changing Hands, Shell says the seller was Wouter Valckenier.4,3
