Claas was from Macassar and was perhaps born there circa 1671. He was said to be 25 years old in 1696.¹

Slave Transactions

On 23 June 1696 Claas van Macassar was sold by Jacob Joppe de Jonge to Nicolaes Loupser, for 100 enkele Spaanse matten.²
