BirthOrigin*Mary was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1680. She was said to be 16 years old in 1696.1 
Slave TransactionsOn 8 February 1696 Juna van Madagascar, Mary van Madagascar, Pieter van Madagascar, Cupido van Madagascar, Claas van Madagascar, Paulus van Madagascar and Valentijn van Madagascar were sold by Richard Glover to Jan Dircks de Beer, respectively for Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 80, Rds. 85, Rds. 80 and Rds. 60.2
On 10 July 1696 Daniel van Madagascar and Mary van Madagascar were sold by Jan Dircks de Beer to Gerrit Basson, respectively for f 500 and f 300 which was to be paid in full in January 1697.3
