Matetee was from Madagascar and was perhaps born there circa 1675. S/he was said to be 21 years old in 1696.¹

Slave Transactions

On 8 February 1696 Phillebe van Madagascar and Matetee van Madagascar were sold by Richard Glover to Pierre Simond, for Rds. 90 each.²
