Sara was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there circa 1676. She was said to be 20 years old in 1696.¹

Slave Transactions

On 13 January 1696 Sara van Malabar was sold by Dirk Mol to Godfrijd Meijhuijsen, for Rds. 100. I believe the purchaser in this instance to have been not Gabriel but Godfrijd Meuijhuijsen - Corrections welcome.²
