Sara was from the Malabar Coast and was perhaps born there in 1676/77. She was said to be 16 or 17 years old in 1693.¹

Slave Transactions

On 28 May 1693 Sara van Malabar and Lijsje van Bengale were sold by Jan de Wit to Cornelis Jansz Simons, for Rds. 30 and Rds. 50 respectively.²
