Van den Bosch was 'n soldaat afkomstig van Den Haag en is in 1729 met Maria Dorothea Sultania, die dogter van die radja van Tambora en Sara Zytia Marouff, getroud en het in 1734 reeds vier dogters by haar gehad.
Die verkragter is op 17 November 1735 die doodsvonnis opgelê en het vier dae later voor 'n vuurpeloton gesterf.
