BirthOrigin*Rachael was from the Coromandel Coast and was perhaps born there in 1675/76. She was said to be 17 or 18 years old in 1693.1 
BaptismRachael van der Kust Coromandel was baptized on 14 November 1706 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town).2 
Marriage De facto* Circa 1701 Rachael van der Kust Coromandel and Hannibal van der Kust Coromandel were in a de facto relationship. The couple baptised a son, Adriaan in 1702. 
Marriage*She married Aaron van Madagascar on 2 December 1708 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.3,4
