Birth*

Hendrik de Goijer was born circa 1670, the date is estimated. Nothing more is known about this individual other than that he appears to have been living at the Cape between at least 1699 and 1702 and that is it likely he was a relation, perhaps father or brother, of Hugo de Goijer. Additions and corrections are welcome.¹

Baptisms - Witness

Hendrik de Goijer and Mette van Velthuijsen witnessed the baptism of Anna Helena de Goijer on 25 January 1699 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town).²
He and Martina Hendrina de Beer witnessed the baptism of Hendricus de Goijer on 3 September 1702 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town).³
