Baptisms - Witness

Isaq van Latum and Anna Elizabeth Michelsz witnessed the baptism of Maria Strydom on 12 August 1696 Nederduitser Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.³

He potentially witnessed the baptism of Martha Meijburgh on 17 July 1707 Nederduitsche Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), this witness has not been positively identified.⁴

Slave Transactions

On 29 November 1690 Sara van Madagascar was sold by Isaq van Latum to Hendrick Bouman, for Rds. 60.⁵
