Names in the record, in publications, etc.Schoongezicht was also known as Lanzerac when it was acquired by Elizabeth Katharina English. She may be the Elizabeth Catherine English née Devenish who apparently died in or before 1931.2,3
Property TransactionsIn 1692 Schoongezicht Jonkershoekvalleij, de Caep de Goede Hoop, was granted to Isaq Schrijver by Simon van der Stel.2,1
In 1712 on the death of Isaq Schrijver Schoongezicht became the property of Anna Hoecks, his widow.1,2
On 12 August 1723 on the death of Anna Hoecks Schoongezicht became the property of Maria Elizabeth van Coningshoven, her daughter-in-law.1,2
In 1755 on the death of Maria Elizabeth van Coningshoven Schoongezicht became the property of Anna Hasselaar, her daughter.2,1
In 1790 on the death of Anna Hasselaar Schoongezicht became the property of Coenraad Johannes Albertyn, her grandson.2
Schoongezicht was sold by Coenraad Johannes Albertyn, to Carolus Lynis in 1808, and was thus alienated from the descendants of Anna Hoeks.2
