Death*He died between 27 February 1706 and 16 April 1707 de Caep de Goede Hoop.1

    Kolben sê: "Wanneer Adam Tas, welkers zoontje Johannes in 't vuur gevallen was, en zich so deerlyk te gebrant had, dat hy daar aan quam te sterven, verzocht, onder borgtocht te worden ontslagen, om 't selve te helpen ter aarde te bestellen, zoo weerd hem zulks op eene onmenshelyke wys afgeslagen." Dit het gebeur terwyl Adam Tas vanaf 27 Feb. 1706 - 16 April 1707 opgesluit was in die Kasteel vir sy aandeel in die verset teen WA van der Stel. Sien ook Adam Tas se Dagboek VRV 11-1..
