By this time Grof had custody of the two illegitimate children [Cornelis Ockers and Dina Olivier] of his eldest daughter Maria. Presumably these included Zacharia Jansz Visser, Johannes Visser, Cornelis Ockers and Dina Olivier.25 In 1679 Grietje Gerrits and Jan Coenraad Visser appeared on the muster roll (Cape Town). The two sons, and daughter enumerated with them may have been Coenraad Jans Visser, Zacharia Jansz Visser and Johannes Visser.26 1682 Jan Coenraad Visser appeared on the opgaafrol (census/tax roll) (Cape Town) as one man along with a wife, two sons, and a daughter [??].
