Birth*Anna van Wijk was born circa 1698.1

Marriage De facto* Between 1713 and 1724 Anna van Wijk and Gerrit Willemsz were in a de facto relationship de Caep de Goede Hoop. . Mansell Upham notes in private conversation that, even though a marriage record has not yet been found, it is llikely that Anna van Wijk and Gerrit Willemsz were legally married. Baptisms of the period routinely indicated that a child was born out of wedlock, viz onecht, but this is not the case in the baptism of their son Gerrit Willemsz (later Gerrit Nieuwoudt).2,3
Marriage*She married Isaak Nieuwoudt on 6 February 1724 Nederduitsch Gereformeerde Kerk, (Cape Town), de Caep de Goede Hoop.4

Death*She died after 1732.5
