BirthOrigin*Jacques was from Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, , and may have been born there circa 1660. Several published works describe him as being born in Steenwerck in French Flanders, but his 1700 marriage record is the only record I have thus far located which stipulates his orgins.2,3
